Before you begin. Suttram is a Pragalya initiative. The public website is informational and the mobile experience is still in development. Screenshots, descriptions and feature previews illustrate our direction; they do not mean every feature is available today.
01. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Suttram (சுற்றம்) website and, when available, Suttram mobile and web application features (together, the “Service”). In these Terms, “Suttram”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the team responsible for this Pragalya initiative.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms to the extent they apply to your use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy describes how information is handled.
02. Availability and early previews
The Suttram informational website is available to introduce the product. Family Space, occasions, gift records and other application features are being developed and may be made available in stages. Screenshots, illustrations and store previews are illustrative and may differ from a future released app.
We may change, postpone, suspend or discontinue planned features or early-access functionality. We do not guarantee a particular release date, continuous availability or that every described feature will be included in the final product.
03. Accounts and sign-in
Where the app requires an account, Suttram uses third-party sign-in through providers such as Google or Microsoft and authentication services such as Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your chosen sign-in account secure and for actions taken through your Suttram account.
- Provide accurate information where requested and keep relevant account details up to date.
- Do not impersonate another person or access an account without permission.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account or family membership has been misused.
- If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms on your own, use the Service only with the involvement and permission required from a parent or guardian.
04. Family Spaces and membership
Suttram is designed to let people create Family Spaces, invite relatives and manage membership choices. A family relationship by itself does not give someone an automatic right to access another person's account or content. Please respect other people's decisions about joining or leaving a family space.
Only invite people you are entitled to contact, and avoid adding inaccurate or sensitive information about others without their permission. You are responsible for the information you choose to make available to members through any sharing controls offered by the app.
05. Your content and permissions
You remain responsible for text, images, family information, occasion details, gift records and other material you choose to provide to the Service (“Your Content”). You should only upload or share content you own or have the right to use, and you must respect others' privacy and intellectual property rights.
To operate the features you use, you permit Suttram and its service providers to process, store, display and share Your Content within the Service according to your actions, applicable settings and the Privacy Policy. This permission is for providing and maintaining the Service; it does not transfer ownership of Your Content to Suttram.
Other members may be able to view or act on content shared in the same family space. Think carefully before entering personal information that you or your relatives would prefer not to share.
06. Acceptable use
Please use Suttram respectfully and lawfully. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, mislead, exploit or impersonate other users.
- Upload unlawful, abusive, infringing or privacy-invasive material.
- Share someone else's sensitive personal information without appropriate permission.
- Attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the Service or bypass security and membership controls.
- Use automated means to scrape information or disrupt the application without permission.
We may review reports of misuse and take appropriate action, including limiting access or removing content, when reasonably necessary to protect users and the Service.
07. Occasions and gift records
Features for occasions and gifts are intended to help families organise and remember information. Descriptions of cash gifts, gold gifts, items and digital gifts refer to records of exchanges between people, not to a promise that Suttram transfers money, holds assets, values gold, processes payments or verifies transactions.
08. Suttram's name, brand and materials
The Suttram name, சுற்றம் wordmark, app icon, designs and website materials are part of the Suttram brand or used with appropriate permission. Except as allowed by law, please do not copy, repackage, distribute or misrepresent our branding, source materials or interfaces without permission.
Subject to these Terms, you may access the public website and any features made available to you for their intended personal use.
09. Third-party services and links
Features may depend on providers for account sign-in, hosting or other infrastructure. Your use of a Google or Microsoft account remains subject to that provider's own terms. External websites linked from Suttram are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Changes, suspension and accounts
We may update the Service and these Terms as the product develops. The current version will be published at suttram.pragalya.com/terms with its updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice about material changes.
If you want to stop using Suttram or ask about removal of your account information, contact hello@pragalya.com. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, misuse, legal compliance or maintenance.
11. Service responsibility
We aim to provide a useful and dependable service, but software can experience outages, defects or changes. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is offered without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance or suitability for every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Please keep independent copies of information that is especially important to you.
12. Applicable law and contact
